Los Alamos Monitor article of 1982 is shown, the date reading Sunday, June 2X (low resolution), 1982, with the title "LA man joins the jet set – at 200 miles an hour" with a picture of a man with a car, with Knapp saying that it "profiles Lazar and his interest in jet-cars". It led to his wife having an affair, it led to his life being turned upside down by the government, and it put Bob on his current path. When they station goons outside his house, Bob seeks help from wealthy UFOlogist, John Lear, who encourages Bob to take his story to award-winning investigative journalist George Knapp at KLAS-TV. Upon applying, Lazar is treated to a mound of documents pertaining to extraterrestrial craft, dead alien bodies, and a plethora of unbelievable material. Why - well, at first glance Lazar’s physics isn’t implausible; however, there is nothing in his writing that evinces a solid academic knowledge of physics. Prothero have stated that nobody with Lazar's high school performance record would be accepted by either institution. The way the story both alludes to earlier mythology and creates new popular myths makes it very interesting reading in this larger context. He claims to have worked on a generator of sorts, that had anti-gravity technology, something no nation on earth knows how to make. Lazar gives us a good sense of what he felt in those dizzying moments, as if his reality was being shifted… or it was all an elaborate game to see how he’d react.

By the time it was thirty to forty feet in the air, lifting nearly perfectly straight up, the sound was completely gone.Although he presented no evidence to corroborate his story (despite claiming to have it), Lazar's tale captured the imagination of people interested in ufology and paranormal phenomena, revived a number of the motifs originated by Betty and Barney Hill ( The Interrupted Journey), and set the framework for Philip Corso's later -- and considerably more insane -- The Day After Roswell. Lazar claims to have worked at Los Alamos and takes Knapp there to "meet his people and tour the facility"; however, very little is gleaned from this event except that Knapp states, "well. Judd's character in the music video for Alan Jackson's rendition of "Pop a Top," originally recorded and made famous by Jim Ed Brown. Bob Lazar grew up in the city of Westbury on Long Island in New York, before moving to Chatsworth, California, where he earned a degree in physics at Cal Tech.

The stressful work and long, odd hours start to wear on Bob and he becomes concerned for his safety. To start, the book left much to be desired, completely leaving out many elements to the story that Lazar has talked about in the past that I was personally excited to learn more about in the book. The omnipresent security guys were there on the periphery, but there was one technician there sitting with a pair of headphones on while seated in front of what must have been a radio, and one other man who stood at a distance from us and kept his back to us the entire time.He explains the alleged propulsion system of the extraterrestrial craft and the elements involved, providing a level of detail that lends credibility to his story. Their job is to reverse-engineer a technology they knew nothing about, figure out how it worked, and what would be needed to replicate it. And we were finally going to get the uncensored and complete story from the man who lived it; Bob Lazar, in the form of a book. While the book didn’t provide as detailed a portrait as I’d hoped, it did put us, finally, in the coke-bottled glasses and mind of Bob Lazar.

Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. I'd like to know what someone with stronger knowledge in physics than I have would have to say about the physics-related parts of the book.At the end, Cletus is transported back into the real world just as he's about to kiss a beautiful woman.
