Description

The code on the base is 3756, but that is no help as it's the same code for Pro 1000-3000 (and maybe more). But the info booklet does say 'Aus/UK', so I'll assume its the UK model. This electric toothbrush comes with very detailed and thorough instructions for how to use this brush. With pressure control, a 2-minute professional timer and 2 brushing modes it gives you a solid platform to brush correctly as a dentist would recommend. The Pro 1000 has a more minimalistic design. A small rubber grip around the power button compared to the large rubber grip running the full length of the Pro 2 2000’s handle. The Pro 2 2000 is supplied with a CrossAction brush head, which effectively disrupts and lifts plaque and debris from the teeth, as confirmed by my plaque disclosing tests. I am more than impressed.

The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 is advertised to last for upto 2 weeks which is 56 minutes of use (2 minutes twice a day for a week). From my experience the battery life is closer to 10 days which is 40 minutes of use. Should I leave the Oral-B Pro 2 2000 to charge every night? A softer brushing sensation can be achieved by using the softer bristled Sensi UltraThin brush head. It is one of a range of interchangeable Oral-B brush heads compatible with the Pro 2. The polishing cup at the centre of the is brush head gently removes surface stains to whiten teeth. Yes you will need a standard 2 pin to 3 pin adaptor. Oral-B Pro 2 2000 electric toothbrush review summary The Pro 1000 on the other hand has not been officially launched in the UK. This means that if you do find it available it tends to have been imported from the USA.Your brushing time, frequency and technique will have a bigger impact than the number of movements alone. As to be expected from a budget range electric toothbrush it does not come with all the bells and whistles. The Oral-B Pro 2 2000 does not come with Bluetooth connectivity to the Oral-B App and position detection. It however does come with all the essential features. Quadpacer 2 minute timer

So whilst the number of oscillations and pulsations do make a difference, your brushing time and technique have the biggest impact. We wouldn't generally recommend upgrading if your existing brush is working fine.If the battery, for some reason is running low, the red little charge indicator light, it will start flashing for a few seconds when turning your toothbrush on and off, and the motor will then decrease in its speed. While you are just moving the brush around your mouth, Oral-B's unique round head does all the rest. It removes up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush for healthier gums and it starts making your smile whiter as of the first day of brushing by removing surface stains. Not only this, but the toothbrush helps you protect your delicate gums with the proprietary pressure control technology that reduces brushing speed and alerts you to be gentler if you brush too hard. With the Pressure Sensor Oral-B Pro 2, 2000S toothbrush, is the must have brush for everyone who wants to switch to an electric toothbrush and improve their oral health. No wonder Oral-B is the #1 recommended brand by dentists worldwide. Protruding from the body, the power button is easy for the fingertip to detect. You do need to give it a fairly firm push, so those with dexterity issues might find it a bit more challenging.

Whilst we don’t have specific figures for this model, we estimate that the Pro 2 2000 is about average in terms of its impact. This is because it doesn't have additional, unnecessary extras like Bluetooth or an in handle display. I bought a toothbrush in Australia in 2017 which I believe, based on specs, is probably the Australian Pro 2000. It comes with a manual for 'Pro Trizone 1000-3000'. It is position at the top of the Oral-B Pro range, with a great pressure control feature that helps you brush gently and correctly. The bristles on the brush head are softening up, which is much better to use at moment, however, a soft brush head like Gum Care or Sensitive Clean would be better. the Last one, the Pro 3 3000 would not win this review considering the only difference with the Pro 2 2500 is an extra bursh head.the price difference is 15 quids, quite expensive for a brush head! These 2 brushes fall at the lower end of the electric toothbrush range from Oral-B, but they offer most of what you need of an electric toothbrush at a good price point. On the Oral-B Pro 2000, if too much pressure is applied, the pressure sensor light will light up red, notifying you to reduce brush pressure. Whilst nobody can provide complete assurances of reliability, there is little reason to have concern here. The Pro 2 feels solid in hand. I’ve used this and similar brushes for many years without issue. The Pro 2 2000 has 2 cleaning modes (Daily Clean & Sensitive) compared to the 1 mode (Daily Clean) on the Pro 1000. Both brushes come supplied with 1 brush head in the box. Most of the time this is a CrossAction brush head with either model. However, the Pro 2 2000 may come supplied with a 3D White or Sensi UltraThin brush head.
