I’ll probably have it as a permanent fixture in my camping bag except for those times when I’m really trying to cut down on weight and take ONLY the absolute essentials. It’s little more than a hinged stainless steel unit with one corner that connects into a square that is held together with small metal tabs. The build quality of the stove itself is certainly of a high standard, nor burrs, sharp edges or dodgy welds.

It will boil enough water to make a brew in a 58 pattern mug in 3 minutes and doesn’t burn so hot that food gets incinerated. The flame pattern is excellent and it will reignite itself if fuel is put onto embers and on the whole, I have been seriously impressed with this little stove.

As the fire consumes the longer sticks, just keep pushing them in a little further until they’re fully consumed.
