Description

If your FireAngel CO alarm is fully activating, and you can hear 4 loud beeps, immediately open any doors or windows in your home, stop using any appliances, switch them off and evacuate the building taking the CO alarm with you. Our FA3322X4 Carbon Monoxide Alarm with digital display comes with a sealed, tamper proof battery that will last the lifetime of the alarm. The sensors within the unit will deteriorate after 10 years, so to ensure you’re protected we recommend you replace the unit after this time.

If your FireAngel carbon monoxide alarm is new and the test button is not working, try removing the isolation pin. Once removed, wait for at least 1 minute for alarm to initiate. If the alarm now sounds once test button is pressed your alarm is working correctly. If it still does not sound, please get in touch with our Customer Support team.

What's Included?

If your CO alarm is flashing a red LED light every 20 seconds, it has been activated recently. This is referred to as ‘alarm memory’, find out more about what this feature means here. Why does my FireAngel CO alarm not sound when I press the test button? With the alarm memory function, the red LED will flash to provide a visual indication of a previous CO alarm activation. The alarm features the latest CO sensing technology and can be used to replace end-of-life FireAngel CO-9X alarms. Fitted with a sealed, tamper proof battery that will last the lifetime of the alarm. The sensors within the unit will deteriorate after 10 years, so to ensure you’re protected we recommend you replace the unit after this time. Known as the ‘ Silent Killer’, CO occurs when fuels burn incompletely, with common sources being boilers, gas fires and hobs and solid fuel burners. However, carbon monoxide can also pass through walls, so you would also be at risk if a neighbouring property had a leak. The FA6813-EU offers electrochemical sensing technology and a clear loud alarm to ensure trusted carbon monoxide (CO) detection for your home. This alarm also features our new Crescendo Test, which helps to protect your hearing by allowing you to choose the volume level of the test alarm. Simply hold down the test button and the alarm will move through the increasing volume levels (similar to a rising ‘crescendo’) until you find the alert sound level you are comfortable with.

CE marked and Kitemarked to BS EN 50291-1 (domestic use) & BS EN 50291-2:2010 (camping/caravans/boats) The FA3313X4 is the ideal replacement for end-of-life FireAngel CO-9B alarms, featuring the highest level of CO detection for your home. With intelligent CO sensing technology and built-in features including Sleep Easy function and Alarm Memory, this alarm will keep your family protected from carbon monoxide. Near an appliance: they should be placed within 1 to 3 metres horizontally from the appliance and between the height of the appliance to 150mm below the ceiling – i.e., not above a stove where it would be in the path of steam or fumes. With low level CO monitoring, a pre-alarm warning to open windows helps reduce the risk of CO poisoning and prevents build-up of dangerous CO levels. If a room is not ventilated and ppm levels continue to increase, the alarm will activate.

Key Product Features

FireAngel’s FA3322 digital carbon monoxide alarm features many icons on the LCD screen. View our guide below to help you understand what each represents. If you have had your FireAngel carbon monoxide alarm for a few years but it is still within warranty, and the isolation pin has been removed, please get in touch with our Customer Support team. If it is not within warranty, please replace your alarm as soon as possible. Why is my FireAngel CO alarm beeping? Once your CO alarm is activated, this icon or ‘heartbeat’ will continue to flash a green LED in power mode. If a battery fault or warning has been silenced for a period of 8 hours and times out during night time, the silence period will automatically be extended once for a further 8 hours (night silence will increase the counter by 1 for sleep easy). Please note, this feature is not available with the FA3820 or FA3313 alarms. Understanding FA3322 digital display indicators

Once your CO alarm is activated and tested, choose to install the alarm by mounting on a wall or free standing on a shelf. Your alarm should be placed 1-3 metres away from any fuel burning appliance in your home, in living rooms or bedrooms. Battery powered carbon monoxide alarms can typically be installed wall-mounted or left free-standing on flat, level surface. In living spaces: they should be positioned close to where the occupant's head is likely to be most of the time – e.g., on your bedside table. Tenants, do you know your rights as a renter when it comes to CO alarms in your home? The Government announced its response to a consultation on the use of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms in domestic properties.

FA3313X4: Carbon Monoxide Alarm with replaceable batteries CO detectors should be installed near potential sources of carbon monoxide, essentially any fuel-burning appliances such as boilers, cookers and ovens, fireplaces (both open and enclosed burners), and portable generators. As you are likely to be most affected by CO in areas of your home that you spend the most time in it is advisable to install alarms in those areas as well, such as the living room and bedrooms. It is also worth noting that while one detector is better than no detectors at all, larger homes may require several detectors to cover the property fully. FireAngel recommend a CO alarm is installed between 1 m and 3 m away from each fuel‑burning appliance, as well as installing additional units in areas such as living rooms and bedrooms where you spend most time whilst at home. Activating your new FireAngel CO alarm Carbon monoxide is a highly poisonous gas, caused by fuel not burning properly. It cannot be seen, smelt or tasted by the human senses and is only detectable through a CO alarm.
