You will need to treat your reptile in a warm water and Betadine bath to remove and kill mites, and you will need to thoroughly disinfect and clean the enclosure. This process will need to be repeated until there are no longer any mites detected on the reptile or in the enclosure. Diligence is extremely important to eradicating a mite infestation. If you allow even one mite to remain, the infestation will return and you will have to repeat the process again.
